The HPE MSA 2062 (Gen6 MSA) is a robust and economical hybrid flash storage solution tailored for expanding businesses. It offers excellent performance, accommodating up to 2.7 PB of storage per cluster, and features intelligent automated tiering to manage demanding workloads such as virtualisation and databases. With dual controllers for enhanced reliability and straightforward management, it is an ideal choice for firms seeking seamless scalability.

Scalable Storage

The distinctive features of these storage enclosures can be customised to suit your requirements with a range of controller options.

Each MSA Storage array includes a dual-controller configuration for redundancy, ensuring seamless operation if one controller fails. Additionally, every controller is equipped with four ports and supports SAS, FC, or iSCSI interfaces, enabling straightforward daisy-chaining and expansion.

Controllers: Controllers for 12G SFF-8644 SAS, 10GBase-T RJ45 iSCSI, 8/16G FC or 10GbE SFP+ iSCSI.
Cache & RAID: Each controller includes 12GB flash-based write cache and can create RAID levels for 0,1, 5, 6, 10, MSA-DP+.

Ready for Expansion

The MSA series is built to scale with your needs, offering upgradeable drives and licences. It supports a mix of SAS SSDs or HDDs, with space for up to 24 SFF or 12 LFF drives.

The 2062 includes 2 x 1.92TB Read Intensive SSDs to boost read cache performance. Additionally, the included software enables features like virtualisation, replication, and performance tiering.

Storage & IOPS: Up to 184TB of SFF or 288TB of LFF storage per enclosure, with Random Read of 395,000 & Random Write of 161,500.
Licenses: MSA’s Advanced Data Services (ADS) suite enables performance tiering & replication.
