The HPE MSA 2060 (Gen6 MSA) is a strong and cost-effective hybrid flash storage option designed for growing businesses. It delivers great performance, supporting up to 2.9 PB of storage per cluster, and includes smart automated tiering to handle heavy tasks like virtualisation and databases. With dual controllers for added reliability and easy management, it is a perfect fit for companies looking for smooth scalability.

Scalable Storage

The unique features of these storage enclosures can be tailored to fit your needs with different controller choices.

Every MSA Storage array has a dual controller setup for backup, so if one controller fails, the other takes over smoothly. Plus, each controller has four ports and can use SAS, FC, or iSCSI interfaces, allowing for easy daisy-chaining and expansion.

Controllers: Controllers for 12G SFF-8644 SAS, 10GBase-T RJ45 iSCSI, 8/16G FC or 10GbE SFP+ iSCSI.
Cache & RAID: Each controller includes 12GB flash-based write cache and can create RAID levels for 0,1, 5, 6, 10, MSA-DP+.

Ready for Expansion

The MSA series is designed to grow with your needs. It has upgradeable drives and licenses, supporting a mix of SAS SSDs or HDDs, with a capacity for up to 24 small form factor (SFF) or 12 large form factor (LFF) drives.

The drives are enterprise quality, ensuring a high Drive Writes Per Day (DWPD). Plus, the management software that comes with the MSA series offers features like snapshots, virtualisation, replication, and performance tiering.

Storage & IOPS: Up to 184TB of SFF or 288TB of LFF storage per enclosure, with Random Read of 325,000 & Random Write of 175,000.
Licenses: MSA’s Advanced Data Services (ADS) suite enables performance tiering & replication.
