Everything apart from batteries and some clearance items are supplied with a minimum of 1-year warranty included, however the majority of our product range comes with a 3-year standard warranty.

The Dell Storage Center SCv2020 series is an entry-level storage array that provides a balance of high performance and high-quality data storage at an affordable price. The SCv2020 is a great option for small and medium businesses needing primary storage or project-based storage, offering an affordable introduction into the scalable Storage Center family.

Enterprise level Hardware Features

Dell SCv2020 storage system supports up to 24 2.5-inch SAS hot-swappable hard drives. The drives can be either hard disk drives or solid-state drives, and different drive types, transfer rates and rotational speeds can be mixed in the same system.

The SCv2020 is a 2U rack-mountable unit. The Dell SCv2020 storage array uses an Intel Xeon 4-core processor. The system has either one or two controllers. Each controller has its own processor.

Software Features

The Dell SCv2020 storage system includes a suite of software features designed to provide data protection, efficient storage management, and seamless integration with other systems.

The system includes RAID tiering. This feature helps in managing storage capacity effectively by automatically placing data on appropriate RAID levels.

Compellent Connectivity

The SCv2020 supports multiprotocol connectivity, meaning it can use Fibre Channel (FC), iSCSI, and SAS.

Fibre Channel: The system has a maximum of 8 x 8Gb FC ports or 4 x 16Gb FC Ports, using SFP+ connections.
iSCSI: The array can use up to 8 x 1Gb or 4 10Gb iSCSI ports, using SFP+ connections.
SAS: Up to 8 x 12Gb SAS ports are available for direct connections to servers with SAS HBAs.
