The Dell R860 has a range of storage options, making use of the latest SSD types & form factors, like the new EDSFF E3.S NVMe drives. Choose from a variety of backplanes up to a maximum of 24 x 2.5” drives.

When it comes to controlling these drives & making RAID arrays, the R860 benefits from Dell’s PERC11 and PERC12 families, including the new PERC H965i RAID Controller, which can manage SAS, SATA & NVMe drives.
