Dell C6420 Node Servers

The PowerEdge C6000 2U Chassis is designed to support up to 4 x 1U C6420 node servers. Each dual-socket node supports 2 x Intel Xeon Scalable processors and features 16 x DDR4 DIMM slots. Chassis options for the C6420 sled: 24 x 2.5” Direct Backplane with up to 6 SAS/SATA drives per sled; 24 x 2.5” Expander Backplane with up to 12 SAS/SATA drives per sled and 2 C6420 sleds per C6400 chassis; 24 x 2.5” NVMe Backplane with up to 2 SAS/SATA/NVMe drives and 4 SAS/SATA drives per sled; 12 x 3.5” Direct Backplane with up to 3 SAS/SATA drives per sled; No Backplane option with no external drives per sled. Choose from one of our suggested specifications or use our server build to order feature below to configure your own PowerEdge C6420. Your C6420 will be built, tested and updated by our engineers before being shipped to you.
