Well, we’re here to lay our cards on the table and put your mind by taking you behind the scenes and showing exactly how we get the best refurbished tech available and where it comes from.
Where our refurbished technology comes from
All ETB products come from reputable suppliers and, just because they’re branded as “refurbished”, doesn’t mean there’s any compromise on quality or condition. Our products can be as new as 30 days old and every product we sell has its own reason for coming to us. Often, we’ll source our equipment from IT asset disposition companies, that work with large organisations to responsibly decommission I.T estates and cloud infrastructures. So, even if their servers and hardware are in perfect working order, when the time comes to replace them, they can unlock there residual value to help fund upgrade projects, meaning our customers can benefit from high performing equipment at a lower price tag.
Additionally, we’ll receive products straight from the supplier. These products aren’t just ‘like’ new, they really are brand new and fresh out of the box. Often, manufacturers will be left with oversupply due to cancelled orders or returns and they don’t have the resources to resell them. Or sometimes, they might be looking to offset some of their older models to make way for the new ones, giving us the opportunity to provide our customers with unused products at a much more affordable price.
Why choosing refurbished will still get you the same results as buying new
From the moment it reaches our warehouse, absolutely everything we sell goes through our strict quality checks to ensure that its performance rate and condition is up to scratch. To ensure that’s the case, we’ll strip products like our servers down to their individual components and carry out a variety of tests on them, before cleaning them and restocking them. Servers and Storage Array’s are then configured to perfectly match our customer orders and specifications so they can have peace of mind knowing their equipment is going to achieve maximum results and cater exactly to their requirements.
Ultimately, we only sell the best of the products we get in, and ensuring our customers gain the high quality and value we promise is important to us. Anything that’s less than that won’t make it anywhere near our customers. We’ll never sell a product that doesn’t hit the mark when it comes to speed, processing power and drive health.
Guaranteeing the condition of your product:
We take care to monitor and track every item that comes through our door, so we can provide an accurate description of its condition to our customers. Prior to stocking the product in our secure warehouse, we’ll record its serial number and take a note of its quality check results.
While the majority of our products perform as good as new, we have a small selection of products which might have slight cosmetic damage or can’t be fully cleaned. If that’s the case, we’ll always communicate any flaws and how they might affect the equipment, if at all. Our customers can also feel at ease knowing that every ETB product is covered by a standard three-year warranty, or one-year component warranty, to remove any concern they might have over quality and ensure they remain in good hands even after their product has been delivered.

Once our tech has been thoroughly vetted, restored and rebuilt, the final step is to ensure it reaches its new owner safely. Whether it’s got a short or lengthy journey ahead, our dedicated shipping team takes the utmost care to ensure your package gets to you in top condition. All our products are securely packaged to avoid any lumps or bumps, and we’ll keep a close eye on their every move to ensure they remain on track to reach their final destination.
