ETB Technologies started in 2001 with just 2 employees buying and selling IT hardware. Since then the company has grown into one of the leading global resellers of refurbished enterprise level IT hardware. We are based in a small town in Dumfries & Galloway and try to play an active part in the community by sponsoring events and supporting local charities. The majority of our staff live within a 10-mile radius. This allows the team to enjoy the unspoilt landscapes and opportunities for outdoor recreation outside of work. Our product range and hairstyles may have changed over the years but we’re pleased to say that our commitment to great service and great products has remained the same throughout.
Our Journey
ETB Begins
ETB Technologies began with a small group of staff in a small office in Dalbeattie.
Online Launch
Our first online shop launched – our key products includes Dell PowerEdge 1650
Our First Move
The business moved to larger premises within the town and we’d started selling Dell PowerEdge 2600, 4400 and 6300 among others
The First Website Update
A website update and a special offer on Dell PowerEdge 2900
Our Second Move
We took on a bigger warehouse and office space on the outskirts of town
Our Company Design Rebrand
Our logo had changed the red button style and we were now selling Dell rack and tower servers including the PowerEdge T100 and R910
The Second Website Update
We launched our new eCommerce website with a much wider product range and a real focus on Dell products
Award Time
Our website won The Herald’s Scottish eCommerce site of the year
New Premises
We built a new office block to accommodate our growing headcount
ETB Gets Smoother
We invested in a new stock and finance systems to help drive business efficiencies. The Dell PowerEdge R630 & R730 are key products.
A Total Re-brand
We undertook a huge re-brand to our image. Replacing our logo & colour schemes that we'd had since 2011. Along side of this we launched a new and upgraded website that would add multiple new features as well as allow us to easily expand & offer new services in the future.

Warehouse and workshop restructuring made space for more staff and more stock processing capacity
ETB Expands
We added a second floor to our office with space for 16 more members of staff We continue to expand our team, gathering the best people to allow our aims of high-quality products
