Although some claim using symbols as a rating system stretches back as far as 1820, most agree that businesses first began aspiring to get the elusive five stars around 1958 when the Mobil Travel Guide started awarding five stars to the world’s very best hotels. Since then, five stars have become a mark of the highest quality across a whole range of different industries. In short, if you see five stars, you know the service is going to be tip top.
So, with all of that in mind, it goes without saying that we were absolutely -delighted to find out that, after a lot of work, we have become a five-star business on Trustpilot. Since ETB began way back in 2001, delivering exemplary service has always been our aim. While Trustpilot reviews are just one way of measuring this, it’s been extremely rewarding to hit a milestone that only around 0.25% of British-based electronics and technology businesses ever achieve.
It’s fair to say though, it’s not an accolade that has come easily. It’s taken a lot of work by a lot of people along the way, and we wanted to explain what we think has got us there.
