Joe has been using ETB Technologies to source enterprise IT equipment for the last six years. It was when working with a managed services client who had an extremely tight budget but required new servers that Joe was flummoxed about how he was going to meet the brief. A colleague suggested refurbished servers as a solution and Joe’s head was immediately turned – particularly as a quote for a new server was coming back outrageously high.

Joe says: “When I received the Dell servers from ETB, I wouldn’t have known they were not new. The quality of finish and performance of the equipment was of an extremely high standard; they looked good as new. I was also really impressed with the warranty service that was offered. I have only had to claim on the ETB warranty offered on a couple of occasions over six years. In comparison to making claims with other companies, the process couldn’t be more straightforward. With ETB, I was asked about the error on the machine and where I would like the replacement part to be sent. With other companies, claiming on a warranty can be a lot more convoluted, resulting in frustration and wasted time. I was really impressed with the direct and simple solution offered by ETB – it is things like this that make me come back to a company.”
Customer focused - all the time
Whether coming to ETB on behalf of a client or as part of an in-house role, the high level of customer service on offer has continually impressed Joe. He says: “Product delivery windows is something that can vary from company to company. However, ETB has always offered me a 24–48-hour delivery window – which has almost always been fulfilled. Even when this wasn’t possible due to a courier delay, the team were brilliant in keeping me updated or, on one occasion, even offered me a free upgrade to mitigate the disruption we’d encountered – which hadn’t even been down to them.”

Joe has been so satisfied with his experience in working with ETB and purchasing refurbished IT that he has recommended the company each time he has moved jobs.
