The HPE Smart Array P441 Controller is an external storage controller designed for HPE ProLiant Gen9 servers. It supports up to 200 hard drives and can be connected to the server via external SAS ports. This controller provides increased performance and flexibility in configuring storage solutions for your server. It supports various RAID levels and includes features such as online RAID level migration and capacity expansion. The HPE Smart Storage Batteries (sold separately) can be used to further enhance the controller's reliability and data protection.
